I have been to SFU, too and believe my journey to there was worse than yours. It was in last January, snowing... by the night came, the snow piled up to (im not sure how much) fairly high that bus stopped running for a while. Luckily, my friend and I were on the last bus still going to downtown, if we had missed it... (changing the subject) I am glad you got to listen to such a interesting talk! I have been searching for talks, too lately. Woah, sounds like you had quite a trip.
